January 19, 2011 - Emma Rose Hagberg is the first baby born in The Citizen readership area in 2011.
Emma was born at 5:52 a.m., Jan. 2, at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She weighed 9 pounds, 11 ounces and was 21-and-a-half inches long.
Proud parents are Todd and Deanna Hagberg of Brandon Township. Siblings are Collin, Jillian, and Trevor.
As the parents of the first baby of the new year, Todd and Deanna Hagberg are the recipients of prizes from generous local businesses including The Citizen, Coffee Zone, In Motion, Jet's Pizza, Jim's Cracker Barrel, Mammoth Video, Merry Maids, O'Malley's Galley, Randy Wise Ford, T.L.M.
