Thank you for Special Olympics donations

January 26, 2011 - Dear Editor,
(In response to 'Scarves for a cause:Local creates garb for Special Olympics,' The Citizen, Jan. 8, page 14):
Thank you for all the wonderful knit and or crochet scarves donated to this year's Special Olympians. We have more than met our goal for the amount of scarves needed. The Olympics will be held next month in Traverse City, Michigan. There will be pictures of the games on the website somi.org in February.
