February 02, 2011 - Lake Orion High School's Boy's Hockey team fell to Clarkston on Saturday, Jan. 29 with a final score of 5-2.

The first period saw the Dragons outshoot the Wolves 10 to 5, but the score remained 1-1, with the Dragon's first goal shot by Corbin Rainey, assisted by Shane Stockwell and Brett Reed.

The second period was not as balanced, and the Wolves managed to score three times on nine shots. The Dragons again outshot the Wolves 12 to 9, but the Wolves stopped every one.

The third period began with a number of dominating plays by the Dragons. Daniel Chapple assisted Stockwell in scoring the second goal of the game for the Dragons. Yet despite having a great deal of momentum in the final period, they failed to score again.

The Dragons shot 38 times, but the Wolves capitalized on their attempts, scoring five times on 17 shots.

The next game will be Thursday, Feb. 3, against Marysville at the Detroit Skate Club in Bloomfield Hills.
