February 16, 2011 - An apparent bomb threat had Oakland County deputies, along with FBI and Bomb Squad agents on the scene at Kroger on M-24 Monday afternoon.

Preliminary reports, according to Lt. Bruce Naile, OCSO Orion substation commander, suggest the threat is likely a hoax.

"The store has been evacuated," Naile said. "FBI is on the scene we're working with them and we're bringing in the bomb squad as a precaution. But at this point we don't think it's a bomb."

More details as they become available.
