February 23, 2011 - Icers beat Birmingham United on Saturday night in the OAA tournament, 4-2.

Austin Morse was the first to put the Wolves on the board, 10:18 into the first period.

Adam Bruderick and Macario Torres added two more goals in the next period and Adam Seel sealed Clarkston's win in the final period.

Goalie Jack Viazanko made 32 saves and the team made 31 shots on Birmingham's net.

The boys lost to Stoney Creek the previous night in overtime, 4-3.

Brad Pizzey, Dillon Drayer and Morse scored on three shots as the team made 40 shots on the net.

Troy Fasseel had 23 saves in the net.

The boys tied their first game in the week against Livonia Churchill, 2-2.

Pizzy and Drayer scored for Clarkston.

The boys put 14 shots on goal and Fasseel saved 33 shots for the night.

The boys host Waterford Mott on Wednesday in their last home game in the regular season, 5:30 p.m. at Detroit Skate Center.
