Big Deal makes biz stand out

February 23, 2011 - Lou Gallo, owner of Auto-Lab at 5100 Dixie Highway, has 25 years of auto repair experience, customer service, and convenient location in the Kmart plaza.

But having moved three years ago, many of his customers don't know where he is.

That's where The Big Deal comes in.

"Our number One goal is to get more visibility for his business," said Laura Lucas, sales representative for The Clarkston News' newest publication The Big Deal. "Number Two, let readers know they have been in business over 25 years, serving local residents."

As part of The Big Deal's inaugural edition, today, it will reach all 26,000 homes in the Clarkston area, as well as benefit from News and Penny Stretcher's Internet marketing through www.ClarkstonNews.com and www.BigDeal2011.com.

Gallo has been in the automotive business since he was 14-years-old.

"My dad was a mechanic," he said. "Service is top notch. We do it all you name it, we do it."

Auto-Lab was located at Andersonville Road and Dixie Highway for about 20 years, and moved to its current location in 2007.

"It's a better location we have access to Kmart, so customers can shop while we work," he said.

The Big Deal is filled with 24 pages of money-saving coupons for restaurants, fitness centers, grocery stores, hair salons, landscaping, and many other services.
