February 23, 2011 - Monday, February 21 - Property damage was reported on N. Washington.
*A suspicious circumstance was reported on S. Washington when the pump lights and overhead lights were not on at an establishment, but the open sign was still on. The establishment was closing early because they ran out of gas.
*Police were able to unlock a vehicle on S. Washington.
*A woman on Willows informed police she was receiving threatening letters from her boyfriends ex.
*A neighborhood problem was reported on Hunters Rill.
Sunday, February 20 - A laptop was stolen from a residence on West. St. Officers are looking at a suspect, but the issue is still under investigation.
*Report of individuals drinking alcohol in front of an establishment on S. Washington St.
*Husband and wife got into a verbal argument on N. Washington and East St. They were driven back to the station for a cab ride.
*Oxford Police Department assisted the Lake Orion Police Department with a drunken subject trying to enter an apartment unit on N. Lapeer St. The subject was looking for a friend, who did not live at that address.
*A subject reported a man passed out in his vehicle on S. Lapeer Rd. The individual turned out to be sleeping.
*A caller on Bay Pointe Dr. reported his house had been egged.
Saturday, February 19 - Reports of juveniles being on the lake at Scripter Park while on a lawn mower.
*Police received a report of people possibly falling in the water at Scripter Park. All of the subjects were accounted for.
*Suspicious vehicle reported on S. Washington.
*A citizen wished to speak with an officer about her vehicle being impounded.
*A woman reported she was involved in an accident on Hunters Rill. She was told Oakland County Sheriff's were advised of the accident. No injuries were reported.
*A caller reported a suspicious person in the area of Jersey and Park St. The individual was in a black sweatshirt and was shining lights in homes while walking along. The subject was last seen heading eastbound on Park St. towards Pontiac St.
*Officers reported two vehicles were blocking the drive lane on S. Washington and W. Burdick.
*A citizen asked an officer to speak with her son about what happens to people when they steal.
*A vehicle hit a rock on W. Burdick.
*A caller on Drahner stated a group of rowdy kids were gathering in front of his home.
Friday, February 18 - Report of people living in the basement of a house on Broadway causing problems.
*A man was reported wandering in the road on Cadigan.
*The area of W. Burdick and West St. were checked for subjects who were reportedly riding a golf cart in the road. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.
*There was a juvenile complaint on Broadway. A caller reported that a 18-year-old old was providing alcohol to minors that were at his house. The caller wanted officers to watch out for the juveniles. The caller was advised that extra patrol would be taking place around his home and that he needed to call back if he spotted them drinking. Officers were not able to locate any of the juveniles.
Thursday, February 17 - A suspicious vehicle was reported on W. Drahner. An unconscious male was found in the drivers seat in a parking lot, with a heroin needle sitting on his leg. A search of the vehicle produced more needles and more bags of heroin. The bags of heroin were destroyed by Oxford Fire and the man was transported to POH Medical Center.
*Officers received a report of a possible driver operating while intoxicated on Oxford Lakes Dr. Police checked the area, but were unable to locate the individual.
*Accident on S. Lapeer Rd. and W. Drahner.
*Report of a suspicious person on Glaspie heading towards Scripter Park. Police were unable to locate the individual.
*Loud yelling and cursing was coming from an establishment on S. Washington. Officer spoke with employees and everything was all set.
Wednesday, February 16 - A man was arrested and lodged in Oakland County Jail after Oakland County Sheriff's found him parked along Adventure Lane and W. Oakwood while on patrol. After speaking with the individual, it was determined he did not have a license for the gun he just purchased and he was also driving on a suspended license.
*Report of banging on a building on N. Washington. It turned out the owner was cleaning the building.
*A man was reported to be possibly intoxicated and walking westbound on W. Burdick. The man was found and given a ride to his address on Crawford St.
*Officer witnessed a Subaru back into a white van in the parking lot of Lakeville Elementary.
*A man was reported walking up and down Lafayette talking on his cell phone.
*A black truck was reported not to be in a parking spot with broken beer bottles around it on Crawford St. Officers made contact with the vehicle owner and the owner moved the vehicle. The owner also informed officers that the beer bottles were not his.
Tuesday, February 15 - A couple of cell phones, some video games and video game systems were taken from a residence on Fountian View Lane. It was discovered the items were missing when one of the residents came home and found the main garage door open and the service door to the inside of the resident was ajar. There did not appear to be any signs of forced entry.
*Suspicious vehicles were reported on W. Burdick.
*A caller reported leaving her wallet at an establishment on S. Lapeer Rd. When she returned, she discovered her wallet was not there. Officers advised the woman to cancel the cards in her wallet and they would call her if the wallet was found and turned in.
