March 09, 2011 - Good Times fundraiser

At 6 p.m., March 12, a euchre tournament will be held at the Goodrich Country Club (lower level), 10080 Hegel Road, Goodrich. Proceeds from the event will help fund the Good Times in Goodrich festival (Aug. 27). Divorce Recovery

From 7-9 p.m., each Wednesday from March 2-April 6, St. Anne Church, 825 Ortonville Road, will host a divorce recovery workshop for men and women of all ages, and all faiths, offering healing and support in dealing with the painful issues of divorce, while promoting recovery and healing. Pastie sale

On March 18 and 19, the Goodrich United Methodist Church, 8071 S. State Road, Goodrich, will hold a beef pastie sale. Pre-order by March 17. Pick-up times are from 1-4 p.m. on March 18 and 10 a.m.-noon on March 19. Details: 810-636-2444 or 810-444-1194.

Bell Festival

At 3 p.m., March 19, the fourth annual Peggy VanVlack Bell Festival featuring a bell concert will be at the Goodrich High School Auditorium, 8029 S. Gale Road. Seven handbell choirs will be participating, with guest conductor Rob Meyer. Details: 248-627-7445.

BHS Freshman orientation

From 6:30-8:15 p.m., March 22, Brandon High School, 1025 S. Ortonville Road, will host a freshman orientation and academic, athletic, activity fair featuring a stage show, displays from clubs, athletic teams, and academic departments. Multiple Sclerosis

At 7 p.m., March 24, St. Anne Catholic Church, 825 S. Ortonville Road, will host the Ortonville Multiple Sclerosis Upbeat chat room meeting. Details: 248-942-5844 (before 7 p.m.).

Mom-2-Mom

From 9 a.m.-3 p.m., March 26, The Point Church, 9430 Perry Road, Goodrich, will host a Mom-2-Mom sale. Rent a table for $20 ($35 for two) limit two. A $1 charge for larger items. Money due March 18. Pregnancy Loss Support

Kindergarten Enrollment

Starting March 29 through March 31, there will be enrollment for new kindergarten and developmental kindergarten students in the Brandon School District. Orientation for Harvey-Swanson Elementary, 209 Varsity Drive, will be March 29 at 1:30 or 7 p.m. Orientation for Oakwood Elementary, 2839 Oakwood Road, will be March 30 at 10:30 a.m. or 6 p.m. Orientation for Belle Ann Elementary, 155 E.
