In singles, sophomore Agatha Pawlikoski lost by only two points in her first match (6-4), and by three points in her second (6-3.)
The team's doubles matches were likewise closely lost, with a team of Kate Gidel and Freshman Nadia Minaret losing 6-4 their first match and 6-3 their second. A team of Hannah Young and Amanda Leonard lost their games by 6-3.
Abby Ulewicz won her singles match.
Head Coach Eric Bracciano said the team simply needs t work out some kinks.
"I think the biggest thing is that we have a lot of work to do," said Bracciano. "We have a lot of new players, and we just need to get them ready and working with the team."
The girls will play again on April 14 against North Farmington High School.
