Students get free bike helmets

(click for larger version) | April 27, 2011 - POH Regional Medical Center and the Oxford Fire Department teamed up last week to distribute 350 free bicycle helmets to second-graders at Clear Lake, Lakeville, Daniel Axford and Leonard elementaries.
POH received the helmets thanks to a grant from Priority Health. Dubbed the "Safe Wheels & Heels Program," the goal is to decrease the number of bicycle-related injuries in children. – Editor C.J. Carnacchio
