May 11, 2011 - Brandon Twp.- Update your style in a cozy, inviting atmosphere at the township's newest salon, Creations Hair and Nails, 80 S. Ortonville Road.

"Creations is where you can step into New York style with hometown friendliness," said Tricia Guzman, owner and nail technician. "We want you to leave feeling refreshed and renewed. Service is our number one priority."

The salon, which opened in March, is full service and caters to men, women and children. Stylists Jamie Southorn and Rebecca Ramseyer each have more than nine years of experience and are up to date on all the new cuts, trends and styles. Feather extensions and glam strands, two of the hottest new trends, are available at Creations. Southorn and Ramseyer use Redken hair coloring, and Aquage and Redken styling products.

Creations also offers facials, waxing, and cosmetics and two massage therapists, Andrea Kinnerer and Jessie Royse, are trained in Swedish and deep tissue massage.

Guzman does manicures, pedicures, acrylics, gels, gel lacquers, airbrushing and nail art. She uses OPI nail products and has 19 years of experience. She is ready to take care of customers in a relaxed and friendly salon with "the most affordable prices in town."

Creations serves wedding parties and offers children's birthday parties, too. A playroom is available.

Creations Hair and Nails is open from 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday; 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday; and 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday; Closed Sunday and Monday. Details: 248-627-4516.
