May 11, 2011 - Stewart Olney graduated from Michigan State University on May 7 with a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry/molecular biology.

The 2007 Brandon High School graduate will attend Wayne State University in the fall to obtain his doctor of pharmacy degree. He is the son of Dave and Jane Olney of Ortonville.

Nicolas David Brooks of Goodrich was inducted into the Alpha Omicron Iota Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Mott Community College on April 1.

Brooks is majoring in public administration and services.

Phi Theta Kappa, established in 1918, is the oldest and most prestigious honor society serving two-year colleges around the world. Students must rank in the top 20 percent of the class to be invited to membership.

Spencer Warn graduated from Hope College on May 8 with a bachelor of arts degree in Japanese and philosophy.

He is the son of Chris Warn of Ortonville and Philip Warn of Milford.
