June 01, 2011 - ADDISON TWP. Lakeville Cemetery is the final resting place for many local heroes who fought enemies ranging from the Redcoats to the Red Menace.

On Saturday, this hallowed ground once again hosted the community's annual Memorial Day ceremony, organized by the 101-year-old Lakeville Cemetery Auxiliary.

Patriotic music, emotion-packed speeches and solemn prayers filled the air as Addison paid tribute to those who gave up all of their tomorrows for our today.

After the ceremony, everyone sat down to break bread together as friends and neighbors one of the many benefits of living in a free country. Editor C.J. Carnacchio
