September 19, 2011 Meeting Synopsis

The Addison Township Board Supervisor Pearson, Clerk Bennett, Treasurer Alberty Trustees - John Boehmer, Ed Brakefield, Linda Gierak and John Sutphin held a meeting on September 19 , 2011, at the Addison Township Complex, located at 1440 Rochester Rd. Leonard, MI. 48367. The following action was taken at the regular meeting of the Board:

Approved agenda as presented.

Approved the Consent Agenda consisting of the August 15 (with an amendment) and August 24, 2011 meeting. The bills as paid for August 2011.

Approved to reject all bids for the payroll bids/contract. Authorized Administration to interview possible payroll firms with the findings and recommendations reported to the Board.

Fire Department:

Approved to waive purchasing ordinance for turn out gear as single source provider.

Approved the expenditure for turn out gear from Douglas Safety Systems from account #204.304.974.000 for $5,900.

Approved the expenditure for fire hose from Douglas Safety Systems from account # 204.304.974.000 for $2804.

Authorized negotiations/renewal for the cemetery tree service contract with proposed renewal/contract to be brought back to Board for approval.
