Notice to the citizens of Atlas Township, Genesee County, Goodrich, Michigan. The Atlas Township Board will receive resumes from qualified candidates to fill the position of Trustee for the remainder of the term expiring November 20, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. To qualify, candidates must be a resident of Atlas Township, and a registered voter. Resumes can be delivered to the township Clerk until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2011. The Township Board will hold a Special Meeting on March 8, 2011, at 5:00 p.m. to review resumes for consideration but will not deliberate or select a candidate for appointment at that time. Following review, the board will schedule interviews for qualified candidates. Annual compensation for the Trustee position is $5,618.04. Trustees are required to attend board meetings, and serve as a representative to the board on the Planning Commission or Zoning Board of Appeals.
