Remove Images Teachers ‘ok’ contract, school board vote April 13 April 06, 2011 Last Thursday teachers of the 430-member Lake Orion Education Association voted to accept a tentative contract with the district. Local teachers have been working without a contract since Dec. 31. The board of education is expected to vote on the contract at their next meeting, April 13. That meeting starts at 7 p.m., at the administration building on the corner of Elizabeth and Church streets downtown. Details of the contract were not made available.
