SYNOPSIS
Of the Special Meeting of the Charter Township of Oxford Board of Trustees held on March 30th, 2011 at the Oxford Veterans Memorial Civic Center.
PRESENT: Trustee Bellairs, Trustee Bunting, Trustee Cryderman, Supervisor Dunn, Treasurer Ferrari, Trustee Spisz, Clerk Wright
ABSENT: None
The following actions were taken:
Approved the agenda as presented.
Opened Public Hearing regarding agenda topic 'Discussion and Input Relative to Banning Discharge of Firearms and Hunting in R-1, R-2 and RM Zoning Districts' at 7:04 p.m.
Closed the Public Hearing at 7:22 p.m.
Directed Clerk Wright to work with the Township Attorney to eliminate the discharge of firearms and waterfowl hunting ordinance and replace it with State law regulations and anything applicable, at a cost not to exceed $1,000.00.
Authorized Supervisor Dunn to work with the County to being the process of drilling a replacement well for Well #1 at Granger/Dunlap Road, contingent upon confirmation from the insurance company that a claim has been processed and that they will be covering the cost minus the Township's deductible.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:04 p.m.
