Despite the rain, wind and cold, 15 teams bravely competed in the 49th Annual Elmer Ball Track & Field Invitational held Saturday at Oxford High School.

There was lots of running and throwing, but unfortunately no jumping as the foul weather led to the cancellation of events like the long jump, high jump and pole vaulting.
