Around the world in a single day

Fifth-grader Coleton Campbell is a natural when it comes to belly dancing.
Clear Lake Elementary students took a break Friday from their usual reading, writing and arithmetic to increase their cultural and global awareness through a special event called "Backstage Pass to the World."

All K-5 students spent the entire day going from classroom to classroom learning things such as Kung Fu, belly dancing, salsa dancing, yoga, world drumming and paper-related crafts from China and Japan.
