Boys and Girls Track

Wolves are heading to Rockford for the MHSAA State Finals in Track and Field for June 3. The girls qualified in six events while the boys qualified in three.

For the Lady Wolves, Erin Billette qualified in the 800-meter run in 2:20.20; Franzi Loetzner, 300-meter low hurdles, 47.40; Anna Manilla, high jump, 5'2"; Caitlyn Post, 400-meter dash, 59.20; and Natalie Smith, 1600-meter run, 5:14.60.

Both teams will be sending their 3200-meter relay teams. The boys qualified finishing at 8:05.10 and the girls qualified in 9:45.40.

CJ Gozdor finished 6'1" in the high jump to secure a spot at finals and the boys 1600-meter relay team is also going to finals.

They qualified during the MHSAA Regionals on Friday at Brandon High School in Ortonville. The top two teams qualified for regionals as well as individuals who met qualifying times and measurements for their events.

The boys finish in seventh place with 31 points. Grand Blanc and Oxford took the top two spots out of 15 teams. The girls finished in fifth place with 57 points. Rochester Adams and Holly finished in the top two places out of the 15 teams.
