AMENDMENT TO
CODE OF ORDINANCES
ORDINANCE TO CONFORM TO REQUIREMENTS OF PUBLIC THE MICHIGAN PLANNING ENABLING ACT 33 OF 2008
Please take note that the Council of the Village of Oxford adopted by reference the provisions of Public Act 33 of 2008 with respect to planning commission selection of officers, meetings, rules, records, appointments of employees, contracts for services, and expenditures and adopts the same by reference as specifically set forth herein. The Village hereby ordains that any of its ordinances inconsistent with these State mandates as they pertain to planning commission selection of officers, meetings, rules, records, appointment of employees, contracts for services, and expenditures are repealed and replaced with such provisions and shall be in accordance with State law as mandated under Public Act 33 of 2008. This Ordinance is hereby given immediate effect to promote the health, safety and general welfare of the community.
