Leonard kids hoof it to school

It was a goregous morning on Oct. 5 as Leonard Elementary students and parents alike celebrated International Walk to School Day by hoofing it to their local place of fun and learning.

The day is designed to help create safer routes for walking and bicycling along with emphasizing important issues such as increasing physical activity among children, pedestrian safety, traffic congestion and concern for the environment.
