NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Charter Township of Orion Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Orion Township Hall, 2525 Joslyn Road, Lake Orion, Michigan 48360, on the following matter:

AB-2011-24, Baldwin Crossing, LLC Sign, 1011-1083 S. Baldwin Road, LCD/LED Portion Within a Monument Multi-Tenant Ground Sign, Sidwell #09-17-100-007

The Petitioner is seeking a variance from Sign Ordinance No. 138 to install a 24" x 78" LCD/LED sign within a multi-tenant monument ground sign.

You may send correspondence regarding this case to the Orion Township Hall, addressed to the Zoning Board of Appeals, or you may attend the public hearing to express your views and/or concerns.

A complete copy of the proposed ZBA application is on file in the Building Department Office and may be examined during normal business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, until the date of the public hearing.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Charter Township of Orion Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Orion Township Hall, 2525 Joslyn Road, Lake Orion, Michigan 48360, on the following matter:

AB-2011-27, Kathleen Jacob, 450 Shorewood Court, Sidwell #09-03-405-005

The Petitioner is seeking six variances from Zoning Ordinance No. 78, in order to remove the existing structure and build a new house on a nonconforming lot:

1. Article XXVII, Section 27.01 requesting variance to build a new home on an existing nonconforming lot after the demolition of the existing nonconforming home.

2. Article VI, Section 6.07, R-3 Zoning District, Minimum Lot Setbacks, Each Side Yard — requesting an 8-foot side yard setback variance from the required 10-foot side yard setback (west side) in order to build

a home that is two feet from the west property line.

3. Article VI, Section 6.07, R-3 Zoning District, Minimum Lot Setbacks, Each Side Yard — requesting an 8-foot side yard setback variance from the required 10-foot side yard setback (east side) in order to build a home that is two feet from the east property line.

4. Article VI, Section 6.07, R-3 Zoning District, Minimum Lot Setbacks, Rear Yard requesting a 20-foot rear yard setback variance from the required 35-foot rear yard setback in order to build a home that is 15.5 feet from the rear property line.

5. Article XXVII, Section 27.03, C, 3, b, iii — requesting a 5-foot deck to lake setback variance, from the required 20-foot deck to lake setback in order to build a home with an attached deck that is 15 feet from

a lake .

6. Article XXVII, Section 27.03, C, 3, b, ii requesting a 17-foot deck to rear yard setback variance, from the required 20-foot deck rear yard setback, in order to build a home with an attached deck that is 3.5 feet from the rear property line.
