Remove ImagesBrandon Township Ordinance Amending Section 46-249 (2) m. of the Home Occupation December 28, 2011 BRANDON TOWNSHIP Ordinance Amending Section 46-249 (2) m. of the Home Occupation Ordinance of the Code of Ordinances adopted August 2, 2010 PREAMBLE THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF BRANDON, OAKLAND COUNTY, MICHIGAN ORDAINS: that the current code of ordinances Section 46-249 (2) m. 5, Home Occupation be amended, and it is appropriate for the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the Township that the Code be amended accordingly. Revision to Home Occupation Section 46-249 (2) m. Revise section 46-249 (2) m to read as follows: 26-249 (2) m. One business vehicle may be permitted at the dwelling. Business vehicles larger than a pickup truck or domestic van shall meet the requirements of sections 46-246 and 46-285, if eligible. SEVERABILITY The invalidity of any clause, sentence, paragraph or part of this Ordinance shall not affect the validity of the remaining parts of this Ordinance. PUBLICATION The Clerk for the Charter Township of Brandon shall cause this Ordinance to be published in the manner required by the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, Act 110 of 2006 as amended and MCL 42.22. EFFECTIVE DATE This Ordinance shall be seven (7) days after publication, January 1, 2012. CERTIFICATION The forgoing Ordinance was duly adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Charter Township of Brandon at its regular meeting called and held on the 19th day of December, 2011 and was ordered to be given publication in the manner required by law.
