Elf in the halls

Jesse Chadwell dressed as "Buddy the Elf" even though he is more than 6 feet tall.
When his older sister suggested he dress up like an elf, Clarkston High School student Jesse Chadwell thought it over.

He told her if she found an outfit, he would wear it. She did and on Dec. 21 during the last day of classes before break, 6'5" tall Chadwell walked through the halls as Buddy the Elf from the movie "Elf."

The response was smiles from students and high school staff.

"I thought it would be fun," he smiled. "My friends and classmates think it's fun."

He donned the outfit one more time as he sat amongst his friends in the "Jungle" during the Wolves win over Troy-Athens last Thursday.
