OHS icers take on local seniors

Icer Stephan Fritz and Isabel Malzahn won’t quit until the final buzzer.
The Oxford High School hockey team never faced competition like this as it squared off against the senior residents at Independence Village of Waterstone last week.

The seniors definitely had the home advantage as they schooled the Wildcat icers in everything from dominoes and Scrabble to LCR dice and Connect Four.

Fortunately for the icers, the seniors took it easy on them. But don't count the Cats out just yet. They'll definitely be looking for a rematch at some point.

Wonder if the seniors can skate?
