Dragon cheer squads all place at Lake Orion Invite

The Lake Orion Invitational competive cheer competition, held on Jan. 28 at the high school, drew squads from throughout the region. The packed gym saw middle school and high school squads execute their best moves, cheers and acrobatic stunts before judges, parents and fans over the course of the day-long event.

The Lady Dragon high school cheer teams all placed at the competition, with the varisty, JV and freshman squads each taking home second place trophies. In addition, the competitive cheerleaders from Scripps Middle School took second place in their division.
