Remove Images Area gymnast takes home gold February 29, 2012 Alec Krystek of Orion Township, pictured center, competed in the 2012 Athlete Warrior Challenge at the Macomb Community College South Campus Sports and Expo Center February 4, 2012. He placed first in the all-around competition with a score of 75 and took home the gold on floor and vault, silver on still rings and high bar and a bronze on parallel bars.  Shawn Clement, Owner and Director of fLipSpot located in Orion Township said he "couldn't be happier for Alec.  "He works very hard and practices many hours at the gym," Clement said. "I am glad that he had such a fine showing for both fLipSpot and Lake Orion.  This is such a great community and we are proud to be part of it." Local residents Eric Kniess and Caleb Campell also represented fLipSpot at the Athlete Warrior Challenge.
