Downtown spring plantings

Clarkston Farm and Garden Club members were downtown last week, bringing springtime flowers to stone planters along Main Street.

The club created and maintain the honorarium planters throughout the year. The non-profit group also maintains flowerbeds at the Independence Township Library, holds annual plant swaps in sping and Christmas Green Markets in December, and hosts a community garden walk every summer.
