LEGAL NOTICE
At a regular meeting of the Groveland Township Board held on April 9, 2012, the following ordinance was approved by a vote of 5 to 0.
ORDINANCE #186 REVISION TO PLANNED DEVELOPMENT (PD) OVERLAY DISTRICT
Add (5) any principal use in I-1 Light Industrial District to Sec. 54-643
Purpose; To provide light industrial opportunities within former and underutilized gravel and sand pits subject to Planning Commission under the Planned Development )PD) Overlay District.
Existing Language
Sec. 54.643. Principal uses permitted. In the PD district, no building, or land shall be used and no building shall be erected except for one or more of the following specified uses, and only after review and recommendation by the planning commission to the township board for approval:
(1) Any principal permitted use in the RE/F through RM, residential districts.
(2) Any principal permitted use in the OS-1, office service district.
(3) Any principal permitted use in the B-1, B-2, or B-3, commercial districts.
(4) Any principal permitted use in the TR, technical research district. (Ord. No. 164, 2-11-2008)
