The Oxford men's golf team triumphed over two challengers on Tuesday, April 10.

The most obvious competitor was Bloomfield South-Lahser, who fell to the Wildcats 152-166.

The invisible adversary was the 20 mph winds and temperatures that plummeted below freezing.

Coach Terry Kelley praised his men, and said that he was "pleased with their performance, especially given the adverse weather" conditions that had this reporter wishing for a scarf.

Wildcat standout J.J. Lewis shot the lowest score, finishing the front nine at Devil's Ridge Golf Club with a 36.

Team Captain Nick Hocker was a shot back, followed closely by Doug Schultz at 39, and Nolan Chapman with a 40.
