Remove ImagesNews Memorial day parade and ceremonies May 16, 2012 ![]() U. S. Air Force A-10 "Warthog." The main ceremonies will be at the Ortonville Cemetery following the parade. The speaker will be Ed Gromek, a long-time veterans services officer with the Department of Veterans Affairs. A fly-over by U.S. Air Force A-10 "Warthog" ground support aircraft will take place. All veterans are invited to participate in the parade and ceremonies. Transportation will be provided for those veterans who are no longer able to complete the march on foot. Volunteers are needed to carry the service flags during the parade. Wearing of uniforms is desired, but not required. All scout troops/packs and other civic organizations are invited to participate in the parade with marching units (no horses, please).
