The Genesee County Sheriff's Department responded to a burglary at PharmD Co., 8191 State Road, Goodrich.

According to police reports in the early morning hours of Aug. 28, the phone lines to the building in the Goodrich Plaza were cut in an effort to disarm the security system. Entry was gained and an undisclosed amount of drugs were removed. A store employee discovered the break-in upon arrival for work in the morning. The store has been open since July.

A Genesee County Sheriff's Department evidence technician was dispatched to the store.

"We are actively pursuing the investigation," said Genesee County Sheriff Lt. David Dwyer. "We continue to have a pretty good history of solving crimes in the Goodrich area due to strong support from the community. Currently we do not have a suspect in custody; however, we have received several leads and are in the process of following up. There is no indication the burglary is associated with any other crime in the area."
