Brief - Orion Art Center fundraiser

November 07, 2012

The Orion Art Center is filling the house with flowers, selling poinsettias this season to help raise money for the OAC.

Director Lauren Dinneweth says the event brings back memories from her childhood.

She adds that it's a fun way to support art in the community and get something beautiful in return.

OAC Board member Brenda Pescia is running the event and says the plants this year are "exceptional florist quality flowers at a reasonable price." They come in two sizes and four different colors- red, white, pink and marbled.

The poinsettias are available for order until November 19. They'll be ready for pick up at the Art Center November 30th and December 1st. Buyers can pay by check or online.
