Junior high students honored for Reflections artwork

This year's Reflections art contest included many student artists from Clarkston Junior High School.

Students selected to move on to compete at the Reflections state level include: Lauren Barnhardt, Theresa Horowitz,  Renee Rogowski, and Kate Rogowski in Literature; Erin McNeil, Alona Lysa,  Alison Ferer, and Adam Kacanowski in Photography,

Johanna Jeung, John Giolitti,  Adam Kacanowski, and Matisse Vitale in Visual Arts; David Nelson, Trevor Chamberlain,  Nathan Slater, and Adam Kacanowski in Music Composition; and Abby Wilson, and Sara Loucks in Dance Choreography.

Honorable Mentions include works by  Kelsey Oliverio, Shelby Geisler, Catherine Hughes, Haile Clifton, Rebecca Doran, Alex Gavulic, Simone Williams, Serena Stauffer and Samatha Pytel.

"We would like to sincerely thank all of our students who participated in this year's Reflections program, The Magic of a Moment," said Mary Rogowski, Reflections coordinator. "We received many exceptional entries and are proud of all of the students who took part."
