Tea Party debate

Should there be a U.S. Constitutional convention? That question will be debated on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at Oxford American Legion Post 108 (130 E. Drahner Rd.) in a 7 p.m. event sponsored by the North Oakland County Tea Party Patriots.

Debating in favor of a convention will be Tom Llewellyn, state director of the I Am American Grassroots Team and Balanced Budget Amendment Task Force.

Speaking against holding a convention will be Norman R. Hughes, state chair of the Michigan Conservative Union and president of Unique Strategies, LLC.

There's no cover charge, however, donations are welcome to help offset costs.
