High school robotics team heads to nationals

The stirring chorus of Queen's "We Are the Champions" could be heard through the hallways of Clarkston High School as the entire school celebrated their newest victors: Team RUSH 27.

The robotics team won the state championship at Eastern Michigan University, April 12-13, and were getting ready for their next tournament, the world championship in St. Louis, which begins this week.

"It was absolutely fantastic," said Mitch Petrimoulx, still smiling a few days after the state championship. "The last tournament we won was in 2011 when I was a freshman...."
