Everybody's a winner at LEGO expo

Every team got a trophy and every student received a medal Saturday as Lakeville Elementary hosted Oxford's 2009 Junior FIRST LEGO League (Jr. FLL) Expo. Globe-trotting DA students learn about foreign holidays

Daniel Axford Elementary first-graders took a whirlwind trip around the world last week, but they never left the school. Carrying tiny suitcases and authentic-looking passports, both of which they made, students traveled from classroom to classroom learning about how Christmas and other holidays are celebrated in Mexico, Sweden, Germany, Italy and China....more >>
