Jane Reynolds

Died: Saturday, January 31, 2015
Age: 65
Jane Reynolds; age 65; passed away December 31, 2014. Jane was born May 21st 1949 in Middleport, New York to Margaret and Edward Barlow. She attended Birmingham Groves where she met Robert Reynolds who she later married.

Jane went to Michigan State University where she studied Special Education. After graduating Jane worked at the school for the blind. She also owned a craft store in Antique Village. She loved crafts, gardening, and her friends. Jane was preceded in death by her husband Robert. She was extremely proud of her children Jamie Reynolds (Dawn) and Erin Lantzy (Mark); and she had 5 grandchildren, Cameron 10, Allie 8, Walker 7, Reese 3 and Caden 1.

Funeral services were held on Monday, January 5, 2015 at the Lake Orion United Methodist Church with Pastor Larry Wik officiating. The family received friends on Sunday at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home in Lake Orion.

Gerald Marvin "Jerry" Vantine

Died: Thursday, January 29, 2015
Age: 68
Jerry Vantine of Ortonville died after a long term effects of a traumatic brain injury. Born June 11, 1946 in Goodrich, Michigan to the late James C. and Madeline (nee: Howes) Vantine, Sr. He is survived by one sister Gwendolyn (John) Robinson and one brother, James C. (Nadine) Vantine, Jr.; seven nieces and nephews, Gary, Scott, James D. and Charles Vantine, Glendene Robinson Lahr, Arthur Robinson, Courtney Vantine Heidrich; as well as his fondly appreciated cousin, Karen Pacer and special friend, Tonya Frank. Jerry was a 1964 graduate of Brandon High School. He had a unique sense of humor that was full of one-liners to make people smile and laugh. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 2, 2015 at COATS VILLAGE FUNERAL HOME-ORTONVILLE. Interment will follow at Ortonville Cemetery. Andrew W. Bridges

Age: 62
Bridges, Andrew W.; of Lake Orion; age 62; January 28, 2015. Andy is the loving husband of Jill of 33 years; son of the late Woodrow “Joe” and Lois Bridges; father of Scott, Ryan and Andrew Bridges; grandfather of Casey Bridges and Jordan Strange; and brother of Phyllis (Henry) Evans, Joan (Deryl) Beck, Bob (Joy) Bridges, Almon (Vickie) Bridges, John (Darlene) Bridges, Rosie (Cliff) Ferguson, Noah Bridges, David (Melody) Bridges and Dennis Bridges. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Andy retired from GM after 35 years. He also owned and operated Varment Removal. Austin Michael Cremer

Age: 18
Austin of Ortonville died suddenly of injuries sustained in an auto accident. The fiance of Jenna Moore; proud father of Eli Michael; loving son of Bryan and Lori Cremer; grandson of Diane (the late Joseph) Cremer and the late Clifford and Mary Holiday; dear brother of Alyssa (Chris) Johnson and Samantha (David) Cremer; wonderful uncle of Christopher, Alexis, Nicholas, Brennan, Braeden, and Logan; also survived by his future in-laws, Kim Moore and Steve Rissell, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Austin was a 2014 graduate of Brandon High School. He was an electrical apprentice working for Schumacher Electric in Clarkston. He had a strong work ethic, loved to hunt, work on his truck, was very family-oriented and a great father to Eli.

Celebrating the life of Gerda Anna Margareta (Jansson) Lundquist who went to be with Jesus her Savior January 24, 2015 at age 95. She was preceded in death by her husband Bror Eric, daughter Katherine & son-in-law, Gary Konow. She is survived by her son John Lundquist and his wife Carolyn Ann; her daughter Ann & her husband Jim Rogers. She was deeply loved by her family including eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. During this life she gave praise and worshipped in faith at Orchard Lake Community Church and Mt. Zion Temple in Clarkston and was a core leader in Community Bible Study. She loved spending time with her family, studying her Bible, playing tennis & golf.
