DAVIS, Katherine E.; of Clarkston; formerly of Lake Orion; May 24, 2015; age 71; preceded in death by her devoted husband of 46 years Raymond and father Peter Shuler; beloved daughter of Helen Shuler; loving mother of Raymond, Jr. (Susan), Ronald (Michelle) and Rhonda Marie Wicks; grandmother “Nan” of Madeline, Andrew, Sarah, Shelby, Seth, Trevor, Hunter and Spencer; sister of Margie (Harold) Rossman, James Shuler & Janice (Steve) Shepherd. ROSE, VIRGINIA MARIE, of Pontiac, died May 21, 2015 at 95 years of age. Born in Detroit, Michigan September 27, 1919 the daughter of the late William and Elsie Craven. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Rose; loving mother of Dennis (Phyllis) Rose, Carol (Richard) Brandt, the late Gary (surviving Karen) Rose and her late infant son David; devoted grandmother of Sharon (Matt), Donna, Linda (Sean), Michelle, David (Sherry), Steven (Traci), Geric (Diana) and Brien; great grandmother of Jaime, Kyle, William, Kelli, Amanda, Nicholas, Hunter, Peyton, Colton, Andrew, Elizabeth, Hayden and Emily; great great grandmother of Averie; dearest sister of the late Leonard (Eunice) Craven and Norman (the late Jane) Craven. Also survived by her special niece Sally. Virginia was a long time member of the Joslyn Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed painting, camping, going to Florida, and doing crafts. She also loved playing cards, board games her children grandchildren and her Elm Haven family. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday May 27, 2015 at COATS FUNERAL HOME – WATERFORD. Pastor Tom Kostrzewa officiating. Burial at Perry Mt. Park Cemetery, Pontiac. Theodore "Ted" Leon Swietlik

Age: 19
Swietlik, Theodore Leon “Ted”, age 19 of Lake Orion succumbed to a lifelong heart disease on May 20, 2015. Beloved son of Mark and Karen; best friend and brother of Sarah; grandson of Mary Greenaway, the late Leon Michalski, and the late Theodore and Josephine Swietlik; nephew of Judy (Vic) Struski, the late Theodora (Richard) Tworek, Gloria (John) Kieffer, Douglas (Michelle) Michalski, and Joanne (Greg) O’Brien. Also survived by his loving girlfriend Brooke Draggoo and many loving cousins and friends. Ted graduated from Lake Orion High School in 2014. He attended O.C.C. and planned to go to Grand Valley State in the fall. Ted was an avid sports enthusiast, loved fishing, and most of all loved being with his family and friends. Funeral Mass Saturday, May 23, 2015 – 12 p.m. at Christ the Redeemer Church, 2700 Waldon Rd., Lake Orion. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday 1 – 8 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. scripture service and Saturday 10 a.m. until time of Mass. Interment at Square Lake Cemetery. Albert Austin Crain

Albert Crain of Oxford was born October 3, 1921 in Hersey, Michigan to the late Bert and Ethel (nee: Lewis) Crain. He married the former Laura Garrahan on October 26, 1946 in Pontiac, Michigan. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Laura; one son, Timothy (Judy) Crain; three grandchildren, Timothy (Amy) Crain, Lynsey and Katelyn Crain; three great grandchildren, Sophia, Austin and John; one brother, Harry Crain. Albert retired from GM Truck and Bus. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, WWII and a member of Church of God, Pontiac and a former treasurer. Turner "Bob" M. Turner

Turner, Robert M. Sr. “Bob”; of Hadley; age 63; May 18, 2015. Dorothy Calvin of Holly born February 26, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Alphy and Verna (nee: Saari) Adler. She married Joseph E. Calvin on December 20, 1991. She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph; three children, Craig (Diane) DeNise, Bruce DeNise and Dawn (Doug) Campbell; two sisters, Ruth (Joseph) Madek and Dorene (Dennis) Finzel; one brother, Robert (Lori) Adler; three grandchildren, Joey, Jillian and Miranda; two great grandchildren, Dylan and Alana; also survived by her loving dog, Kaylee. Dorothy retired from Fisher Body in Grand Blanc. Memorial service will be 11:00 Thursday, May 28, 2015 at COATS VILLAGE FUNERAL HOME-ORTONVILLE.
