The Genesee County Sheriff’s Department is warning residents in northern Oakland, western Lapeer and southern Genesee counties to be on the lookout for man and a woman suspected in at least six home break-ins since the end of March.

The man is white, about 20-30 years of age, 5’9”, with short brown hair and a light beard. The woman is also white, with dark hair/red tint, and about 5’8”. The vehicle they are in is believed to be a 90s model dark blue Blazer, silver trim, with broken rear window. They are allegedly forcing entry into homes during the day, targeting jewelry due to the price of gold.

Residents should call 9-1-1 to report any suspicious activities in addition to keeping doors and windows locked.
