NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Board of Zoning Appeals
A Regular Meeting of the Village of Lake Orion Board of Zoning Appeals will be held on THURSDAY, JUNE 2, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Lake Orion Village Hall, 37 E. Flint St., Lake Orion, MI 48362.
The following application for Zoning Ordinance variances will be considered:
Case No. A-11-03 Property Address: 300 Peninsular (Rotole)
Proposal: The proposal is to construct a 2nd story addition onto the existing dwelling (approx. 37.5’ x 30’ – 1100 sq. ft.), and an attached garage (approx. 28’ x 22’ – 641 sq. ft.) with a 2nd floor addition (16.5’ x 22’ – 365 sq. ft.) onto the street side of the dwelling, requiring the following six (6) variances from the Zoning Ordinance:

1.94 ft. existing (to dwelling overhang)
1.11 ft. proposed (to garage overhang)

4. Front (Garage) Setback
20.00 ft. required (Street) 4.76 ft. proposed (to garage overhang)
15.24 ft. variance requested
5. To permit greater nonconformity with respect to dimensional restrictions such as setback requirements, height limitations, density requirements, or other requirements.
6. To permit structural alterations in excess of 50% of the 2011 True Case Value of the existing structure. Cost of Alterations
