Monday, June 13 - Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies in Springfield Twp. gave an assist to OCS in Oxford in solving a break-in in Oxford. The deputy observed a truck driving along Rattalee Lake and Giroux with an unsafe load. After stopping the vehicle, the deputy received three different accounts of the occupants activity and cargo. Eventually, two of occupants admitted they allegedly stole the metal scrap from a metal yard in Oxford Twp. Oxford Twp. deputies were able to verify the items were indeed taken from a business in Oxford. The three suspects, 25 and 24-year-old Holly residents and a 20-year-old White Lake resident were taken into custody for interviews and lodged in the Oakland County Jail pending charges.

Sunday, June 12 - Oakland County Sheriff’s responded to a disorderly conduct on Lake Shore Circle after a man heard a woman yelling outside of his home. When he approached the woman and asked her to stop, she became belligerent with him and started yelling obscenities at him. When officers arrived, the woman looked to be intoxicated and blew a .174 on the PBT.

*A man was ticketed for disorderly conduct after deputies from the OCSO found him parked in a public lot with a blanket draped over him. Officers recognized the man as the same subject who last week they found parked behind a closed building on S. Lapeer Rd, saying he ran out of gas. Officers asked the man to start his vehicle after he told them he ran out of gas. After the man refused multiple times, officers issued him a ticket for disorderly conduct.

Saturday, June 11 - Approximately 10 teenagers were cited for trespassing on a property on Dunlap and Granger Rd after they were spotted camping on the property. The teenagers said they were informed by some of their classmates at Oxford High School they were allowed to camp at this property.

* While on patrol, OCS Deputies found a juvenile on Chirco, near Drahner, to be highly intoxicated. Officers noticed the subject was slurring his speech and could hardly stand up. The juvenile admitted to consuming nine beers and blew a .250 on a PBT. The juvenile was issued an appearance ticket for under 21 consumption of alcohol.

*An intoxicated man was seen walking with a small child along W. Burdick by multiple callers. When officers located the man, they transported him to his residence on Oxford Oaks.

Friday, June 10 - A caller on N. Washington told police she saw a male shadow outside of her bedroom window, towards the rear of her building.

*The Village Police had to assist the Oakland County Sheriffs with an highly combative intoxicated individual on S. Lapeer Rd.

Thursday, June 9 - A caller informed dispatch he saw lightning strike a power pole on Oakwood and Lapeer Rd. He also reported seeing no fire or smoke.

*Village officers received word about a little boy walking down W. Burdick by himself. Residents on Dennison and Pontiac St. also reported seeing the same thing.

Wednesday, June 8 - Police received word about a breaking and entering on Pontiac St.

Tuesday, June 7 - Two computers were taken from Oxford High School. The reporting person said the door was locked and there was no signs of forced entry.
