Monday, July 18 - Abandoned auto reported on Bay Pointe Dr.

*An accident was reported in the parking lot of Centennial Park between a Dodge Magnum and a gold sedan.

*Report of possible road rage incident on Grampian Dr.

*A suspicious person was reported on W. Burdick. The individual looked to be an underage smoker.

*A juvenile was spotted driving a motorbike out past curfew on Pleasant. The officer followed the juvenile home where he spoke with the mother, who did not have any knowledge the juvenile was out. The mother said she would take care of the situation.

Sunday, July 17 - Oakland County Sheriff’s responded to the scene of family trouble on Twin Lakes Blvd. in Oxford Twp. The son was pounding on the front door of the residence, trying to gain entry. After speaking with the parties involved, it was determined the son came home intoxicated and the father denied him entrance to avoid a confrontation. Dispatch made the responding deputies aware the son had a probation violation warrant out for him from Oakland County, so deputies searched the son and secured him without any further incidence. The son was transported to Oakland County Jail for housing.

*A caller reported seeing water coming out the top of a building near the water tower on Glaspie St. (see story on Page 12).

*Parking complaint about vehicles parking along Glaspie St. in a manor which would block emergency vehicles.

*Officers received word about multiple cars and a semi parking on the grass on Glaspie St.

Saturday, July 16 - Oakland County Sheriff’s responded to a physical altercation between brothers on West St in Oxford Twp. According to the complainant, the brothers began arguing over beer, which quickly escalated to his brother, who left the scene with his dog prior to officers arriving, punching him in the mouth and possibly breaking his jaw. The brother was found along the Polly Ann Trail and brought back to the residence, where he was arrested for Domestic Violence and lodged in Oakland County Jail.

*Possible intoxicated subject on Hudson. Everything was all set after the officer learned the subject was waiting for a ride.

*A dog was heard barking for over an hour on Oakwood during the early morning hours. Officers were unable to locate any barking dog and no contact was made.

*Village dispatchers were made aware of a possible subject operating under the influence of liquor on E. Dranher. The call was transferred to the Oakland County Sheriffs.

*Village officers responded to an ordinance violation on Oxford Lakes Dr. Officers spoke to the owner of the business and advised him to obtain a permit to do roofing.

*The landlord at an apartment complex on W. Burdick informed Village officers one of his tenants was the victim of a possible breaking and entering. A window screen was found ripped out of the window and laying on the ground.

*A woman on Ridgefield reported hearing someone knock on her window.

*A caller on Crawford St. reported she was struck by a vehicle.

Friday, July 15 - A individual had a garage sale sign posted downtown on Burdick and S. Washington. The sign was returned to the individual, who was advised about the ordinance.

*A woman on East St. called police and informed them numerous people were stopping her husband from coming up to visit her and pick her up. The woman did not want to report the individuals names because she thought the village officers would not do anything about the situation. She was informed if the officers knew the names of those responsible, they could go and talk to them. The woman said she was all set for now.

*Officers responded to a complaint about a Ford Escort driving back and forth in front of a residence on Lakes Edge Dr. The vehicle was last seen heading towards Oxford Lakes Dr. with five juveniles in it.

Thursday, July 14 - Suspicious circumstance reported on S. Washington. A caller reported seeing a male slash at least one truck tire after being kicked out of an establishment. Upon the officers arrival to report the indicated damage, the vehicle in question was gone.

*A resident on S. Washington received a bill from a possible fraudulent company.

*Six juveniles were trying to sink a paddleboat at Oxford Lakes Beach.

Wednesday, July 13 - Report of a possible fight on Stafford.

*Village officers assisted the Oakland County Sheriff’s Dept. with a traffic stop on Pontiac and W. Burdick.

*Subjects were found trespassing in Scripter Park after hours.

Tuesday, July 12 - Report of juveniles hanging around a building on Davison. It turned out the juveniles were playing, so they were sent on their way.

*Officers conducted a welfare check on an elderly female who was possibly disoriented on S. Washington.

*Accident between a Dodge Avenger and a Jeep Liberty on Depot.

*Village officers received word about a purse being stolen from Scripter Park on Monday.

*A motorist reported losing a blue stainless steel paint sprayer on W. Burdick between Pontiac St. and the cemetery. The assisting officer and the motorist were unable to locate the missing paint sprayer.

*A resident on N. Glaspie came home to find two basement windows cracked. It appeared someone tried to forcefully enter the house.
