The woman reported the ball was floating in the water and she waded in and retrieved it. She then gave it to her grandchildren. A second group claimed the ball was theirs and struck the woman in the face, cutting her nose and breaking her glasses. Michigan State Police units were unavailable at the time of the incident. The conflict was resolved without further action.
