NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

BLOCK GRANT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Oxford Village Council in the Oxford Council Chambers, 22 W. Burdick Street, Oxford on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 6:30 PM.

The purpose of the public hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from low and moderate income persons. The Village Council will consider any public comments on this matter at this time. The hearing is open to the public to voice their views or submit their written comments.

Approximately $9775.00 may be available to the Village of Oxford to fund eligible projects that principally benefit low and moderate income persons.

The Council Chambers is handicap accessible. Arrangements to reasonably accommodate special needs, including handicap accessibility or interpreter, will be made upon receiving 72-hour advance notice.
