Toys needed for Christmas store

November 30, 2011

It’s not too late.

Donations for the Community Christmas Toy Store (CCTS) will be accepted up to Dec. 9.

Donations of new toys are needed for families in need this holiday season. CCTS boxes have been placed at several local businesses, and monetary donations are also accepted.

This year, the CCTS is in particular need of toys for boys, and toys for children who are ages 7-12. Other wanted items include books for all ages, games for children ages 7 and up, make-up, puzzles, and watches for children ages 10-12.

The community is welcome to volunteer for sort and distribution of the toys on Dec. 9 and 10.

To submit a monetary donation send checks made out to the Community Christmas Toy Store, P.O. Box 733, Ortonville, MI 48462.

Details: Betty Stewart 248-627-3324, or Adele Ferguson at 248-634-8446 to volunteer.
