Season’s Greetings from Youth Assistance

December 21, 2011

Christmas came a little early this year for a special group of deserving kids thanks to the kind folks at Oxford-Addison Youth Assistance (OAYA).

The local nonprofit group hosted its annual Christmas party Friday night at Immanuel Congregational United Church of Christ in Oxford Village.

Kids and parents gathered to eat some delicious pizza, play a variety of fun games and socialize in a festive atmosphere.

Even Santa Claus took some time out of his extremely busy schedule to fly in from the North Pole and hand out gifts to this lucky group of kids.

OAYA had a gift table set up for the kids to do some last-minute holiday shopping for their mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers.

As usual, it was a fantastic event that was very much appreciated by all the kids and parents who help make up the OAYA family. – Editor C.J. Carnacchio
