The Charter Township of Orion Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, January 23, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Orion Township Hall, 2525 Joslyn Road, Lake Orion, Michigan 48360, on the following matter:

AB-2012-01, Wally Edgar Chevrolet Wall Signs, 3805 S. Lapeer Road, Sidwell #09-26-451-003 The Petitioner is seeking two variances from Sign Ordinance No. 138: 1) Section 8, B, General Business-2 (GB-2) Zoning District, Maximum Number of Signs for Wall Signs--Requesting a variance to install two additional wall signs above the allowed one wall sign; and, 2) Section 8, General Business-2 (GB-2) Zoning District, Wall Sign Area, footnote (7)--Requesting a 23.82-square foot variance above the allowed 80 square feet to install wall signs totaling 103.82 square feet.

You may send correspondence regarding this case to the Orion Township Hall addressed to the Zoning Board of Appeals, or you may attend the public nearing to express your views and/or concerns.

A complete copy of the proposed ZBA application is on file in the Building Department Office and may be examined during normal business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, until the date of the-public hearing.
