Ordinance No. 70 An ordinance to adopt by reference the International Property Maintenance Code.

The Village of Ortonville Ordains:

Section 1. Amendment of Chapter 150.02 of the Village of Ortonville Code of Ordinance to adopt by reference the International Property Maintenance Code.

Section 150.01 of Chapter 150: General Regulations in hereby amended to read as follows:

150.01 International Property Maintenance Code

A. The Village of Ortonville herby adopts the “International Property Maintenance Code 2009” and as amended, as the Property Maintenance Code of the Village for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided.

B. Each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of the Property Maintenance Code are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this section with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes prescribed below:

Section 101.1 Village of Ortonville

Section 103.5 This section is amended to read as follows:

The fees for activities and services performed by the department in carrying out the responsibilities under this code shall be those fees as established by ordinance of the Village Council from time to time.

Section 304.12 April 1 to November 1

Section 602.3 September 1 to June 1

Section 602.4 September 1 to June 1

Section 2. Effective Date.

This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon publication.

At a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Ortonville held on January 23, 2012, adoption of the foregoing ordinance was moved by Trustee Peters and supported by Trustee Eschmann.

Absent:

The Village President declared the ordinance adopted.

The foregoing is a true copy of Ordinance No. 70 which was enacted by the Village Council of the Village of Ortonville at a regular meeting held on January 23, 2012.
