BRANDON TOWNSHIP
The Charter Township of Brandon has had the 1st reading of the following ordinance amendment at the Regular Brandon Township Board Meeting of April 2, 2012. The 2nd reading of the ordinance amendment will take place at the Regular Brandon Township Board Meeting of May 7, 2012 .
AMENDING ORDINANCE
Sign Movement or Message Changes
Section 46-447. General Conditions.
(b) Illumination
(2). No sign shall have blinking, flashing, or fluttering lights or other illuminating devices which have a changing intensity, brightness or color, or which are so constructed and operated as to create an appearance or illusion of writing, printing or moving graphics, except that static message movement showing the date, the time and the temperature or where the color, brightness, intensity, static message or any part of the sign changes no less than every 5 minutes may be permitted.
